The competition is aimed at visionaries in the solar industry and is published in the specialist media with national and international circulation. The guidelines are determined by the founders and/or the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees appoints the jury. The foundation pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes.
The first award ceremony took place on the occasion of the 40th PV Symposium (March 11 - 13, 2025) in the Banz Monastery in Bad Staffelstein.
The second award ceremony took place during the 41st PV Symposium (March 3 - 5, 2026) in the Banz Monastery in Bad Staffelstein.
The application period for 2027 will begin soon.
